It has all the facilities you d expect from a top-end hotel, including a couple of superb restaurants plus a sauna and steam room.
Bodoland s Manas National Park (www.ma nas100.com; Indian/camera/video 50/50/500; foreigner/camera/video 250/500/1000; hOct- Mar) is Unesco-listed and has two ranges Bansbari and Koklabari with diff erent access points.
Hotel Arini HOTEL $$ (%2301557; Upper Khatla; hartsock village condos s/d from 800/1200; W) Only a small red sign announces the Hotel Arini, named after the owner s daughter. The rooms are cheerily bright and fresh- looking, and the staff pleasant and obliging. Choose a back room with a stupendous hartsock village condos down-valley view. They have a couple of very basic singles for a mere 200.
